Good morning home planet.
Berlin, 9:53, I’m tired.
No wonder I’m tired, I was up all night sewing some wee things…
This bag drove me crazy:

Outer Fabric is Amy Butlers French Wallpaper and the lining is silk so there was no chance to pin while sewing. Both outer fabric and lining had to be hold by hand while sewing. I learned my lesson now!
This one’s new as well, No. 9, named “early winter” because the pattern reminds me of tracery on a frosted window, wich is called “eisblumen” in german; literally “ice flowers”.

I made a cosmetic pouch with the same fabrics:

Good chance that there will come more from this fabric combination, I like it a lot:)
But not yet, now it’s time to rest.

..is ready for sale but not listed in my shop yet.
I’m not quite sure what to think of it. I mean, I like it, I like frame and fabric, but the corners could have been a bit… uhm, don’t know, on the other hand I have never seen a frame purse with such corners yet (maybe for a good reason, hee hee), but I don’t think it’s ugly or stupid, it’s just…different:)

Heavy cotton for outer fabric, white cotton for lining.
Inbetween: heavyweight interlining and quilting for structure and weight and softness.
Frame fixed with glue and handstitched to purse.

I decided to give numbers to all frame purse bags and pouches instead of names.
#1 I’m not good in searching for names
#2 each frame purse will be unique and one-of-a-kind, so I’ll mark it as kind of “serial number”, hahaha:)
and #3 I (and everybody else) know/s how I’ve developed my sewing skills.
OK, #3 is not really interesting for anybody excepting me.
Here’s No.2:

Just found this great tutorial on U-handbag’s U-handblog, here’s my result: bozontee’s vintage style frame purse #1:

It is made of silk (outer fabric) and tweed (lining). The frame is not glued but hand-stitched to the purse (wich was a nightmare to do) and it is not for sale, it’s mine! Yes! And I love it!

Have I ever said something like quitting a shop or something? I don’t remember…
Had my first sale on etsy today, YAY:)
And it was something completly unexpected; it was a banner I made -once- on a trip to my family. You cannot carry all your beading and sewing stuff with you but a computer is always around.
The shop owner who bought it hasn’t uploaded any products yet but my banner is already up, watch it here!
And as soon as there are some products in that shop I’ll surely make some more promotion:)
All in all, and that is what really counts, is, that with this deal I now have three very good feedbacks. Maybe that helps costumers buy something…?
OK. Made peace with etsy (for a while:))
