Craft Recipes
16. June 2008 - 2:03 am UhrWell, well, well, time for a new link on my link page, isn’t it?
By clicking through myspace I found a new forum called “Craft Recipes”:
It is a network for crafter to share recipes (for soap, cookies, candles, whatever) and information. I like the idea and decided to join, even if there are still a few things to do for the “Craft Recipes” technical team… The layout is a bit too blue and grey for example, some more friendly colours might help making the site more attractive for newcomers.
But all in all it’s a new idea and new ideas are rare so I think the site has indeed a good chance to grow, check it out here:
credit card wallet
15. June 2008 - 5:24 am UhrOK, my first “project”; a little credit card wallet.
Even if it was the most simple pattern I could find, I still have stupid problems. Seaming for example is hard to learn…
But nevertheless I’m quite proud I produced something I can show to others:)
[It is made of black cord and golden brocade by the way.]

Back from Brussels
15. June 2008 - 2:28 am UhrImpressing building, isn’t it? All black and grey….
Well, we went to Belgium for one day, just to get out of Berlin and see something different.
But what we saw was rain and rain and more rain, so our 7-hour-trip turned out to be a run and hide show-jumping course from shop to café to restaurant to shop… Nevertheless it was good to go, so we had a chance to realise how beautiful our sunny Berlin was:)
The next day it started raining here, too. Time for me to work on my sewing skills wich are still baaaaaaaaaaad.
Back from Orkney/Scotland…
9. June 2008 - 2:50 am UhrSHEEEEEP:) I like sheep. And Britain’s got BILLIONS of them.
So, yes, we spent some days in Orkney (is it in or on Orkney?). Summer crashed into Germany and we had nothing better to do than going to the north of Scotland… But it was beautiful, just like germans think Scotland would be: rocks, lot’s of green fields, sheep of course, some cattle, many old houses, some castles, cottages like the cottages in Rosamunde-Pilcher-Movies, Whisky and ugly food (I’m sad to say but english breakfast will never appear on my wishlist, even if I had to starve for years.) …and beaches with palm trees.
OK, germans do not expect beaches with palm trees in Scotland but from my own experience I can tell that we are indeed very happy to find some! Even if the water temperature is close to zero degrees celsius.
What else happened?
Nothing.
I started to sew but it will take some decades untill I can show some of my “works”…
